Special Guest Sarah shares her story of living the supposed dream of the career and life that looks good on paper, and is in fact her dream career… until it wasn’t.
Sound familiar? So many of us chase and get the dream we desire, only to realize it is no longer what we want, or it is taking too much from us.
So, what happens next? Sarah changed everything!
In her words…
“I chose to let go of some of my own dreams during my life (they never really let go of me). These include being a Vet (I'm allergic to animals. Going to Mars (born 40 years too soon). Helping to create a peaceful world – leading to service in the UK armed forces, including time in Bosnia and Kuwait (after Kuwait I resigned my commission and left the forces).
I've always loved travel, and I worked as a meteorologist for decades as I loved remote, wild places - and weather forecasting took me to those locations, which led to me living in the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic for 7 years.
But over the years I realised I really wanted to help people reconnect to their vast reserves of innate wisdom.
This meant in my spare time around my job as a meteorologist I trained and practiced as a healer, a shamanic practitioner and of course as a coach - so that I can help people learn to live their lives from a place of powerful embodied alignment with what matters most to them.
Four years ago, on the edge of burnout (again), I finally said full yes to my dreams.”
Sarah now lives on a narrowboat on a canal in the UK and spends her time working with women and documenting their dreams. Not the sleeping dreams, the ones in our hearts. That’s the Dreamworks Project.

Sarah L Kent, Wild Soul Coach
Sarah is a former astrophysicist, meteorologist and winning ultra-runner. She turned her life upside down four years ago, leaving a successful career in corporate science to say yes to her own dreams. She now lives, works and writes from a beautiful off-grid narrowboat based on the inland waterways of England and Wales, accompanied by her gorgeous and extremely fluffy cat.
She’s a coach to mission driven women, helping them to live and lead from a place of powerful, embodied presence, so they can create the life and legacy they deeply long for.
In her spare time she curates the Dreamworks Project, which is devoted to inspiring and affirming the dreams and aspirations of women around the world.
She is passionate about inspiring women to question what’s possible, and to work together to create a better future – one where humanity and the greater than human world get to thrive together.
